Precision 165, 2001
     This Precision 165 Sailboat is in like-new condition with many updates and upgrades. You will not find a nicer Precision 165 for a fraction of the price of a new boat. Precision sailboats are known for their high quality, sailing performance, and customer support. The only reason I am selling my Precision 165 is that I am splitting a larger docked keel boat with a friend.

     Lovingly brought back to nearly-new condition, and in some ways, better than new. Immaculate original interior, gelcoat reconditioned, brightwork restored. Centerboard hinge inspected and reinstalled, hull bottom painted with barrier coat and antifouling paint, including the centerboard and in the trunk itself. Mainsail, working and storm jibs, as well as 150 genoa. Bilge pump float switch installed, along with 3-position switch panel and battery master switch. All lighting replaced with LED's. With fenders, ropes, new running rigging...this boat is ready to sail!
Honda 5HP, 4-cycle long shaft runs well, impeller inspected, and bottom end serviced. Trailer hubs serviced and new seals installed. New E-rated tires all around.

Despite the location, the boat has only been sailed in fresh water!

Precision 18, 1997
     1997 Precision 18 sailboat, galvanized trailer, 4 HP Mercury 4 cycle (new 2000). Well-built Jim Taylor designed boat in excellent condition. Comfortable and stable daysailer for 4 with all halyards and sheets led to the cockpit. Shock keel with 350 pounds of ballast for shallow water sailing and easily handled centerboard for better pointing. Easily rigged, launched, retrieved and trailered with all-up weight of 2,000 pounds.
Almost all sailing done in fresh water. Bilged in 2015, West Marine (WM 4000) stereo in waterproof casing in 2013,: all new running rigging in 2012; maintenance-free AGM battery in 2012; cabin cushions in excellent condition: screens for 4 opening ports; cockpit cushions; boom vang; tiller extension; mainsail cover; tiller cover; mast head wind indicator; anchor; dock lines; bearing buddies on trailer; new trailer tires including spare in 2012; spare tire holder; new jacks on trailer tonge and aft in 2012.

     New Price - Standard equipment for a 1988 P-23. The boat is dry inside and solid. New Halyards (Main and Jib), New Toping Lift and New 2 Standing Rigging. New Hawkeye Depth Finder. New Interstate 27DC Marine Battery. Centerboard Hinge was checked when the bottom was painted. It looked new and was not replaced. Centerboard pennant was replaced. Mast raising system included.

Performance Trailer: New four tires, New LED lights and wiring. New Hydraulic Brake Drum Actuator assembly. New R/L Hydraulic Brake assemblies (Galphorite corrosion-resistant finish), New Hydraulic Brake lines, New 4 Bearing Buddies, New Cable for Winch. Has trailer extension for launching.
