Centerboard Pennant

Postby Jay M » Fri Feb 26, 2016 4:43 pm

Has anyone modified the cleat for the Pennant? With maybe a cam or jam cleat, if so how did it work out, I'm finding tying this off while solo sailing a bit tricky.

Yeah, the set up in that photo looks like an easy modification, I did however come across this cleat http://www.defender.com/product3.jsp?pa ... 9&id=89529 seems like it might be super easy to use, but I worry that I would trip on it and be out 60$ plus maybe cause some damage.

Yes, others have done something similar using a swivel cam cleat, unfortunately I can't find any photos.
